SUPERGROS

SuperGros was founded at the start of 2000 by DAGROFA A/S and CENTRALKOEB A/S to help reinforce the independent retail sector in Denmark following a phase of decline by providing new strength and new vision.

Within just a few years this aim was achieved: SuperGros is today the most important food wholesaler in Denmark and supplies large chains in the independent food retail sector which are represented throughout the country (SuperBest, SPAR, KIWI minipris, Letkoeb, Naerkoeb). There are logistic centres in Vejle, Herning and Ringsted. These terminals are each designed for specialised tasks and thus extremely efficient. The high degree of specialisation allows SuperGros to optimise its cost structures and this is reflected in a customer-friendly pricing policy.

Its size and market position make SuperGros one of the strongest players on the Danish market and provide the optimum basis for the success of the independent retailers it supplies. Precise quantities in perfect timing is the aim and the obligation in everyday business. SuperGros’ success is based on a thought-through organisation and state of the art logistic solutions which are realised in the six distribution centres. An equally important factor is the qualification and motivation of the employees who give their best daily to achieve joint success.
